I have a problem and I'm not sure where it stems from. I have a netwrok
heavy install of acad and everyone shares the acad menu. I have also
created a custom menu that all users get automatically on their own network
The install is as follows: Each user runs off the server and shares common
files, the users also have a config directory on their own PC's where the
PGP file is stored as well as LIN and their user files. The idea is that
the user can't modify the ACAD menu but can go to town on their own. The
proble is that acad keeps copying the menu files to their local drives and
any changes made to the network menu doesn't get reflected on their
machines. These machines are located a fair distance apart and the
maintence is significant!
Any idea why acad is not using the menu off the network but keeps making a
copy on their local drive??
