Maya and 3ds Max Licence Issues Student

So on my old PC i had Mudbox, Maya and 3ds Max all 2014. But now because i got an ssd and i want to have all 3 on my ssd, only Mudbox was succesfully installed even though its exactly the same version as before. For 3ds max and Maya I am using the code given by the internet version from the free software. Im getting the error message Activation limit reached. But why isnt this happening with Mudbox. I am a student doing a Games course in my city and i really need Maya and 3ds Max. Can i get a possible fix please??
