Maya Installation Error.

I'm trying to download Maya 2014 on my Mac OS X 10.7.5 laptop. Everything goes well until it reaches the installation section of the download. Everything downloads correctly except for the second to last component in the list. The "Autodesk Backburner 2014 dlcommon libraries" component will not download, and I don't know why. The rest of the message says "Installation failed on exit". So the program was not able to install.

Here's a picture of what I'm getting.

unfortunately no. 😕 I tried customer support twice and both times they
kept sending me a link that just basically led me to installation again.
Even with sending a picture they still didn't understand me.
Let me know if you're able to resolve your problem as well.

i figured it out, just by redownloading the installer again today, and it seemed to work ok. so you might try that, trying new installer downloads til it works.

I received the same error when I tried to install the program on a separate disk from the one that my operating system is installed on. When I installed the program on the drive containing my OS, the program installed successfully.
