Maya 2012 Mac OSX 'Failed to recognise' error

Hello there at Autodesk!

I'm having a problem installing Autodesk Maya on my Macbook Pro.

It downloaded fine, but when I double click the dmg file, an error comes up in a separate window reading 'Image: Autodesk_Maya_2012 Reason: Not Recognized'. I've searched the site and google and still can not find a solution.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Shay.

Hi. Did you end up getting your .dmg/s to work?

I'm having the same problem with AutoCAD for Mac (Student download). I'm using a 2012 MacBook Air 13". Size of *.dmg is 245MB and is also "not recognized". Found this thread from another forum which may have a solution...

Guess I'll try it out anyway and let you know if it works.
