Maya 2011 installation error on Snow leopard

Hi

I have installed Maya 2011 on Mac OSX 10.6.2.
I have recieved the following error on start up:

"License was not obtained
Tried Maya 2011 (657C1 2011.0.0.F), error 25

License method:
environment variable MAYA_LICENSE_METHOD='standalone'

Product choice:
environment variable MAYA_LICENSE='unlimited'

License file override:
environment variable MAYA_ALT_EN is not set"

My Maya.env file says the following:
"MAYA_LICENSE=unlimited

MAYA_LICENSE_METHOD=standalone"

Any ideas where I'm going wrong?

cheers

Matt

Can you post your adlm.log file (from /tmp folder).

Have you tried
- Uninstalling Maya
- Renaming or moving these files/folder out to another location
/Library/Application Support/Autodesk/Adlm
/Library/Preferences/FLEXnet Publisher/FLEXnet/

Reinstall Maya 2011

Try starting Maya (you will need to re-register Maya for New license)

Hope that helps

Can you perhaps elaborate on how to uninstall Maya 2011 from OSX? I'm currently trying to cleanly uninstall it, but haven't found an uninstall option yet.

I saw those posts and tried to use the commands but I get an error when trying it.  they should just give us an uninstaller and be done with it.
