Hi, Thanks for any time and help on this.
Using X11 and Fink (http://ashu-geek.blogspot.com/2011/11/how-to-install-linux-applications-in.html ), it appears to be possible to install Linux programs on a Mac.
Purchasing the Autodesk Entertainment Creation Suite Ultimate seems to include the install and use of Maya, 3ds Max, Softimage, Mudbox, SketchBook Designer, etc.
On the Autodesk Entertainment Creation Suite Ultimate Subscription, when downloading from the Subscription Downloads, for the 'Platform' "Mac 64," the only programs for download are;
Autodesk SketchBook Designer English, French, German, Japanese 2013 Mac 64
Autodesk Maya English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese 2013 Mac 64
Autodesk Mudbox English, French, German, Japanese 2013 Mac 64
Are those the only installs available for the Mac with the purchase of the Autodesk Entertainment Creation Suite Ultimate, or are the Linux 64 programs also intended for install and use on the Mac?
Additional Linux programs listed;
Autodesk Entertainment Creation Suite Ultimate English 2013 Linux 64
Autodesk Softimage English 2013 Linux 64
Autodesk Maya Entertainment Creation Suite Standard English 2013 Linux 64
Thank you again, any help on this is sincerely appreciated š .
All my best,
Josh Purple
