Licensing

We have existing users running AutoCad 2008 and licensed for 2008. We want all our users to be on the same version.
We have a new user that we purchased a new AutoCad license for and all that is available are licenses for 2011.So we purchased a 2011 license for this person.
Can I install 2008 version on this new person's computer and during activation process will the 2008 version accept the license serial code for the 2011 version?

Thanks

If you purchased the new seat on subscription the user of this license can use the current release (2011) or three releases back (2010, 2009, or 2008). That is if on subscription you could install and activate 2008 on this user’s computer.
If not on subscription the license is for only 2011.
