Licensing problem

Back in the summer we purchased 30 network licenses. We have found that we needed more so have just purchased another 30, we now have 60 in total.

This is where the problem is; when I registered the software i seems to have disable the original 30 licenses that were already installed an working correctly. LMTOOLS only says 30 licenses in total, but the license file when opened in Notepad shows that the extra licenses were appended to the original.

Any ideas as the students at the University have now returned from Xmas break and we need all the licenses available.

You probably have added a code for each set of 30 seats generated on
different dates. The flexlm will only read the most current date of the
licenses for each product. You need to have one code generated for all 60
or generate both codes on the same date for the flexlm to combine them for a
total of 60 seats..

U.S. product registration number is 1-800-551-1490

Check autodesk.com for other options.

That sounds promising. The issue dates in the license file are different. If i change the dates so they are all the same will that work or will i have to get all the codes reactivated?

You will need to either generate a new code for all 60 or generate codes for
30 but on the same date. I don't believe that you can just edit the lic
file in notepad and change the date?

I had the same issue until I regenerated the codes for each serial number of
the same product on the same date.

You can do this your self at
