Licensing Autodesk 2011

Hi guys and girls,

I was wondering if I can get any help on a question, basically a mate and I have made an animation and we have used 3DS Max 2011to create the 3D models for it. Do we need to purchase a license for autodesk 2011 if we are to release this animation for free?

You will need to purchase the latest version.  In some instances, you can request an older version.
