License manager won't start

I am trying to run AutoCAD 2002. The initial logo comes up, but then I get
a message saying "A license error has occurred. Please restart your system
to initialise the License Manager System . ... Error [7.1.29]"

Restarting the system has no effect; re-installing the license manager has
no effect, re-installing AutoCAD has no effect.

Does anyone know what the error code indicates, or how I can get this
situation resolved?

Regards,
Nick Alexander

sound like a corrupt install did you unistall this is probably a registry issue

unistall and reinstall if that doesn't solve the issue you have a bad cd

good luck
