License Server is down error

We have two users connected, but share one license. So one or the other can be on at the same time. One of the users has no problem with AutoCad 2000i, the other receives the error "LICENSE SERVER IS DOWN" whenever he tries to open the program. Any ideas?

Right, but it used to be that if one person wasn't using the software the other could get on it. Now only one user gets, "THE LICENSE SERVER IS DOWN", then receives the error "FATAL ERROR: THE SECURITY SYSTEM (SOFTLOCK LICENSE MANAGER) IS NOT FUNCTIONING OR IS IMPROPERLY INSTALLED." Now if it was not functioning correctly or not installed right, why would the other user be able to use the software?

Can you ping the server by IP and by
hostname?

Yes, I can ping by IP and hostname. The ACADSERVER value is set to the name of the server that the client connects to run AutoCAD. Any other ideas?

1- For ACADSERVER set @ before the neme of the
server to limit the search of license server.

2- Verify the date and time between the server and
this machine.

3- UDP and TCP port number 1422 is
block.

2- What have in the ADLM.LOG.

3- Try to make another deployment on this machine
from the image on the server.

but set the verbosity to "9" so that every step is logged.

I searched for the ADLM.log and nothing showed up. The ADML.log isn't on the client machine. I reinstalled the image from the server to the workstation, and I still get the the same errors.

The ADLM.log is on the server. Normally in
"C:\ADLM\LOG".
