    License Manager question

    I'm setting up 'floating' licenses for AD2 with AdLM. Everything works, and
    on the license server I can run the AdLM Query program to see which users
    are using licenses, etc. My question is, should I be able to install and
    run the query tool from a workstation on the network or do I always have to
    go to the server for this information. Ideally, I would be able to run the
    AdLm Control program too, to remotely free up licenses if necessary.

    When I try to run AdLm Query from a workstation, if I click on "clients" I
    get the message;

    Server: sta
    License Server host unknown

    Thanks,

    Try setting the Acadserver variable on the workstation to equal the location
    of the ADLM. This works for me.

    Later,
