License Manager in WAN environment

I have license manager installed an running nicely on one subnet of my
network. I have another subnet that is communicating with the first subnet
across the internet using a VPN through my firewalls. I tried installing a
network seat on the second subnet, but it fails to find the license manager.
I assume it is looking only on the local subnet and server.

Does anyone know if there is a way to configure the client and tell it where
to find the license manager server? Both subnets are completey based on
TCP/IP protocol only.

Thanks.
Mike

You will at least have to set the ACADSERVER=servername variable on the
clients and ensure UDP port 1422 is not filtered. The NLM is not officially
tested over a WAN so is not officially supported.
