License Manager Shortcut

We just installed our new network software (AutoCAD 2011, AutoCAD Civil 3D 2011 and AutoCAD Raster Design 2011) on our license manager server. As CADD Technician I do not need these products installed on my workstation. How do I get a shortcut on my desktop for the License Manager Tools to keep track of usage?

You can install the LMTOOLS on your workstation and configure it to poll the server.  On your workstation, you would configure it to use the license file and in the box put 27000@SERVERNAME where servername is the hostname of your NLM server.  From there you can perform a status enquiry.
