Hello,
I’m wondering if you could help me.
I’d like to create a new license file for using Autodesk Inventor on Flexera LMTools.
When I enter the serial number in the registeronce.autodesk.com website, it comes up with the following error:
Your product cannot be registered in United States. (7)
However, the serial code I have previously worked to generate a license file on the website (I need to generate a new one because the old license file has expired) Is there a specific website I should be using from within the UK?
Thanks very much
A serial number is registered to a specific region. The site works globally, but the serial number must match the region. i.e. US version of AutoCAD must be activated in the Americas. EMEA version of AutoCAD must be activated in EMEA.
Hi David,
Thanks very much for your fast reply.
The serial number is from the UK, and i'm trying to register it from within the UK (from a school with a static IP address). If I visit a "what's my IP" style website, they always say that the IP is located within the UK. This serial used to work fine (previously generated license file around a year ago) - is there any chance that my problem is caused by incorrect geo-targetting on the Autodesk website?
Thanks 🙂
Update: I've now tried registering from a different UK-based IP address, from a machine in a different town with a different ISP, and still receive the error "Your product cannot be registered in United States. (7)"
Hello j.rowson!
Please drop me a private message (Click on my Raimi.Buang profile name and then on Send This User a Private Message) with the Serial Number, Registration information and server's Host Name and Host ID.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Hi there,
I've sent a PM over to you.
Also, just to update, I've tried several computers located all around the UK, and on every single one it says Your product cannot be registered in United States. (7)
I'm guessing there's a bug on the Autodesk registration website.
