License Error 41

Well i went to use Max today and i got this i reinstalled nothing helped…

any suggestions ?? ?

I would uninstall 3DS Max 2010 and reinstall it.

 

The Error 41 indicates that the ProductInformation.pit file maybe missing.

 have Reinstalled 5 Times Same thing..

Can you upload the ProductInformation.pit file to this post? 

 

It should be located here:

 

Windows Vista/Windows 7
C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\Adlm

XP
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Autodesk\ADLM

Theirs no Autodesk folder and i just finished reinstalling it.

 

 

i haven't even activated it yet

Try installing as a trial first using 000-00000000.

Now it Crashes at

 

ManagedBootstrap.gup

and

SceneExplorerView.gup

didnt help cause the link is Dead

I read that I was supposed to delete it, to get rid of error 5, I did and now it is error 41, I tried using the installer but it does nothing! HELP!

Hi!
I've got this same problem and in the C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\Adlm folder, I have the file 'ProductInformation.pit' but error 41 is still here and I can't use Max 😕

Also, it crashes each time I try to insert the license number! I've reinstalled it 3 times, help!
