License Borrowing

Hi,

out of curiosity (as I can't test it myself), what happens when you're
running a distributed server setup. Does the license borrowing application
take into account which server is used for borrowing? What if servers have
different amounts of borrowable licenses? Could someone please clarify this
scenario for me! Will be running into this question as soon as our roadshow
starts next week!!!

Thanks in advance,

We have this scenario here with 3 distributed servers having 2004.

The licens is borrowed on one of the servers and has to be returned to that
one also if you want to return it before the set date.

Take a look at the trial version of SmartPurger (now for AutoCAD 2004) or
download some freeware at www.jtbworld.com

When using the license borrow utility to return a license early the
following message is displayed...

"Your license cannot be returned at this time because you are unable to
connect to the license server."

The problem is not connectivity., the license server is up and running. Any
Ideas?
