License Alert, Error [1.5.-18]

I have installed a new FlexLM Server v11.4 and requested a new license file from AutoDesk. On the server side everything seems to be fine:

9:36:48 (lmgrd)
9:36:48 (lmgrd) pid 2004
9:36:48 (lmgrd) Detecting other license server manager (lmgrd) processes...
9:36:48 (lmgrd) Done rereading
9:36:48 (lmgrd) FLEXnet Licensing (v11.4.100.0 build 50818 i86_n3) started on sprn (IBM PC) (7/29/2008)

9:36:48 (lmgrd) Started adskflex (pid 332)
9:36:49 (adskflex) FLEXnet Licensing version v11.4.100.0 build 50818 i86_n3
9:36:49 (adskflex) Server started on sprn for: 57600ACD_2009_0P
9:36:49 (adskflex) PLIST
9:36:49 (adskflex) EXTERNAL FILTERS are OFF
9:36:49 (lmgrd) adskflex using TCP-port 2080
10:30:40 (adskflex) TCP_NODELAY NOT enabled

When I try to start the client I am getting Error [1.5.-18]. Does anybody have any ideas on that?

Looks like a pre-release beta code.
Technically a -18 error means "License server system does not support this
feature" as if you're trying to launch a product you don't have codes for.
Either double check you've got and reread the correct license file, or else
call Autodesk and request another file. I've had this happen before. I've
also had starting and stopping the service (instead of just re-reading the
license) help this error.
Still, that product code you've cited is a beta code.

Thank you very much for your response. I had to request a new license file twice and now it is working. It was indeed a license file for a pre-release version.

No problem. Learned that the hard way, myself.
