Licence transfer

I have owned 3d studiomax 2012 for awhile,i have never not once, been able to use the license transfer utility.

The first time i tried it,it told me my transfers/activations had been used up?

i have had to transfer before because of hdd failure, and customer service has always given me help but i don't understand why i have never been able to use the license transfer utility?it is a standalone license non commercial.i paid alot of money for this program and i don't get the customer service thinking.

anyway,if anyone can throw me a bone i would be greatful!

thanks!

Rick

A quick clarification: "standalone NON-COMMERCIAL" (emphasis mine).  Is that actually "COMMERCIAL"?  Non-commercial licenses are typically student or sales demo's.
