I am trying to license the Autodesk 2015 Entertainment Suite via network licensing, but cannot get the products to get a license. Error 20. What's interesting, I installed ipv4 32 bit version but when I perform a status enquiry I am getting an ipv6 address, though the 2008 R2 server has an ipv4 address.
I don't know if this is the problem, but what can I do to get lmtools to use the ipv4 address.
There is no such thing as an IPv4 vs IPv6 of the NLM (regardless of what Autodesk links.) They are all the same. The software vendor does not differentiate. What I usually do is uncheck IPv6 on the server, then modify the hosts file on both the server and the client to point the netBIOS name to the IPv4 address.

Thanks, I found that post earlier which gave me the solution. The link below is where I downloaded lmtools from and is the reason I refer to an ipv4 or ipv6 version of the tool. A little confusing
