LDT 3 network install

I'm about to start upgrading my LDT2i network to LDT3. I read somewhere in
the Natwrok Admin Guide that the license manager used in LDT3 is different
than the one used in LDT2i and they are not compatible! To me, this means I
have to 1) uninstall LDT2i from my server / workstations then 2) install
LDT3 on the server 3) authorize it and 4)install all the clients & my
customized "stuff". Is this correct? Do I really have to disable my current
CAD system BEFORE I can even start installing the new version?

Thanks, JL

Jake -
It is true that the License manager for LDT2i and 3 are different, it does
not mean that they are not compatible.

Take a look at http://www.fsb-ae.com/acadnetwork/acadnetworkfaq.htm#2h .

There shouldn't be a problem running both on the same server.
