LDD2i error on Win2k

LDD2i works just fine when I'm logged in as myself (with administrative
rights), but as a regular Domain User it generates a series of 3 alert error
messages when starting a new DWG or opening a DWG already saved with LDD2i.
Upon initialization, specifically the AecTreeManager section, it states that
it can't find AecTreeMgr, I click ok, then can't find AecDtKernal, I click
ok, then can't find AecTerrainModel, I click ok, and it finishes
initializing. Those files exist, but I suspect as a regular Domain User,
LDT2i is tripping up on some rights issue.

Anyone have an idea how to fix this?

background info: LDD2i and Civil 2i, both with Service Pack 2, running off
the
ADLM, Windows 2000 network and client LDD2i installations. We have domains
setup, and we're using active directory, implementing the documented
registry fixes that gets AutoCAD 2000i to run without Power User or
Administartor rights, so users are set up as regular Domain Users.
