Is anyone providing notification of patches via a local patch list??

If you are, how in the world are you suppose to use this? We have a network
install of AutoCAD 2000i Mechanical and I have AutoCAD Today pointing to a
patch list located on our network. My thinking was that I (the CAD
Administrator) would download one service pack to a location on the network
and include the path to that SP in the patch list. However, whenever I
click on the link to see if new patches are available is states that my
product is up to date.

I have looked all over the help files and installation manual, there is
nothing mentioning how to make use of a local patch list text file.

Please help me, thanks.

Kevin,

I replied to you in the 2000 general NG with a link which documents how to
do this. I had a few large beta sites that were using this method of
notification of Service Packs.
