Inventor professional 2012

I can't get Inventor pro 2012 to install.  When I enter the serial number and product key, I got the green check marks, so that does not appear to be the problem. The installation fails almost immediately, with all modules showing a red X.  There is no error mentioned in the error log (which is only created for the Design Review module, and is attched).

 

Any ideas ?

Install Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable (x86) Failed Installation aborted, Result=1603

 

Uninstall any existing or newer VC++ from Control Panel > Programs and start your Inventor install again.

I am having the exact same problem.  Where can i download Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable (x86) Failed Installation aborted, Result=1603?

You can download it from Microsoft.  But the installer will install it for you if you remove it first from Control Panel.
