So I had inventor 2015 student installed on a secondary drive due to lack of space, that drive failed and I replaced my main os drive with a larger one. BTW this is windows 8.1 pro 64. So add/remove dident work properly since the program did not exist anymore, I followed the directions here http://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/How-to-... to no avail. When I download the installer from the autodesk website it will say that it installed sucsesfully but afterwards there is nothing in the installation path and no relevant files come back when searching the drive for inventor. Any ideas?
thanks

You should be able to clean up what ever is left of the previus Inventor installs using the Microsoft Fix it utility.
