Inventor 2013 SP2 will not apply

Several attempts to apply the msp have been unsuccessful. The admin account was used each time, and after 45 minutes of seeing this (each attempt), I gave up.

 

Is it normal for the service pack to take this long to be applied?

Service packs can be quite large and long to install.  Do you get an error?

 

Are you certain that your Inventor isn't already SP2?

I have the same issue. Installation starts and goes about 80%, stalling on copying files. Checking through taskmanager shows that there is absolutely no activity from the installer process(es) whatsoever.
