Inventor 2012, Studio 'grayed out' - works on first load but not subsequent

I'm having a problem with Inventor 2012 Studio being grayed out after the initial load. Inventor is installed on the network and everything works bar the 'Environments' menu. Stress Analysis, Studio and BIM Exchange are all grayed out. Checking the Add-Ins menu they all appear to be loaded/automatically. The strange issue is that on initial start up, I can access all environments (Studio etc) but if I log in again, these options are all grayed out yet still appear to be loaded in the Add-Ins menu. This happens across 3 types of PC. I'd appreciate some pointers of where to start looking for a solution. We have many students who will soon rely on using Inventor Studio for part of their coursework. Thanks in Advance! .
