Installing an Inventor trial

I am currently running AutoCAD LT 2014, and would like to download a trial version of Inventor from the website. Is this advisable? Are their any special steps I need to perform to ensure I do not cause an issue with my current installation? Which file should I download?

There shouldn't be any interaction between the two programs.  Just make sure your OS is compatible - some users have been reporting problems with Win 8.1.  Have a browse through the Inventor board for those topics to get a feel for the potential issues.
