Jack,
I believe that if you install the new AdLM over the old (if that is
possible) that you will have to reauthorize everything anyway. One way that
you can do this is to install the new AdLM on a different server and keep
the old one running until you get all of your codes reauthorize, then you
take down the old server, bring up the new server, reset the ACADSERVER
variable on each of the client machines and have them log back into AutoCAD.
I don't know if there is a better way or not, but that is probably how I
would do it.
You can get the list of product codes off of you AutoCAD CD. Just do a
search for NLMPROD.LST and copy that over the existing one. If you can't
find it then I can post my list from my 2000i mechanical CD. Jerry also
posted a link to an online list awhile back, but we ended pointing out that
it was rather out of date. I believe that they updated the list but who
knows if it has the new 2000i codes.

I am using the original installation of ADLM from acad R14 and figured it's
time to upgrade before installing 2000i -based software. The ADLM issues
licenses for a 2-node LDDT network and a 3- node ADDT network. Do I
uninstall the original ADLM first or will the new ADLM software recognize
the old and upgrade it in the same directory? I don't want to re-authorize
all my network software if it can be avoided. Also, is there a source for a
list of feature codes and the associated software(e.g. 140= Acad R14,
150=ACAD 2K, etc.) Any help would be appreciated. Thank You,
Jack McNeely
