Installing Autodesk Inventor Pro 2015 on E: Drive

Hello,

I am currently attempting to install Inventor Pro 2015 on my desktop computer, however it won't let me install it off of my C: drive.  The reason I want to install it on my E: drive is that my C: drive is a 64GB SSD that I use for Windows and I don't have enough space to install Inventor Pro.  My E: drives is a 1 TB internal hard drive.

I've tried using symbolic links to no avail.

Have you not gone into the custom settings and chosen the E:\ for install?  Might show screencaps of what you are doing.

Please understand that some parts of the installation files are necessary to be installed on the root system drive. Shortcuts, registry settings, and profile customizations are all examples of this. However, you may be able to make some system changes that will allow you to install your Autodesk product and avoid this error. Please review my KB article for more information:

Good Luck!

Thanks for the reply!  I understand that Inventor might require some space on the C: drive but I am trying to install the main software onto the E: drive.  I've tried swapping the drive in the installation configuration options and it doesn't want to swap the install location over to the E: drive.  I will try again wen I get home and post a screenshot of the error that it is giving me.
