Installation problem with 2010

I'm currently using windows xp64bit oem system, 2.6 quad, 8 gigs pc6400, 1000watt, dual 9800 gts+ gforce 512, bridged with sli< when trying to install says will not install on current operating system, what do i need to do? upgrade to windows 7? or is it able to run on this operating system?

Upgrading to Windows 7 should not be necessary and not all 2010 Autodesk products have been tested for Windows 7. Some products have the installer for 32-bit and 64-bit on the same media while other products have separate media for them. Double check the media that you are installing from.
