Installation of AutoCad 2000 on Windows 7 PC

I just replaced my HDD and now have Windows 7 (previously Windows Vista).  I cannot re-install my AutoCad 2000.  I do not need to upgrade to later versions of AutoCad as 2000 has been great for my needs.  How do I install 2000 on a Windows 7 system?, or what alternatives are there???

AutoCAD 2000 is no supported on Windows 7.  Your alternative is to use a newer version of AutoCAD or try to somehow install Windows 98/Me on an old computer.

In addition to the info above... You wil need to buy this if Win7's XP mode doesn't work for you:

Don't forget R2000 can't survive without the plotupdate patch if you plan on plotting at all: it may or may not install in Win7's XP Mode. Try it and find out.
