Installation ended permaturely because of an error

Always get this message when installation network version onto some of the NT 4.0 machine. Clean uninstallation already processed.

Any idea?

Thanks!

Hi,

a bit more information would be nice:

What product? Version?
Client heavy or Server heavy installation?
Silent install or non-silent? (What is that anyway---"Loud?")

I'll take a guess; AutoCAD 2002, Client heavy install. Do this, start the
installation from the Image -directory on the server by doubleclicking the
Client.exe -file. This will start a "Loud" install, which might tell you
what the problem is.

Also check that you have enough diskspace! You need apr. 300 MB free space
(I'm being on the safe side here, might be less) on the C:-partition. This
cannot be avoided because the Microsoft Installer uses C: for Temp files.

Are you installing using a Domain admin username or a local one?
