Installation Problems

Hello, I'm Susan. I've downloaded Autodesk Inventor Professional 2012 and I can't install it because there is a screen that keeps popping upo saying: "Installation Complete. Some Products have failed to install." Please help.

Both the error screen and the installation log file are attached.

I had a similar error message when installing Revit Structure 2012.  I've attached the installation error log file for review.  Could you please let me know what I need to do to make the program install correctly.  Thank you.

Hello Susan and all in similar straights. Here's how I fixed my problem.

I'm running Window 7 Professional 64 bit so your screens maybe a bit different than mine.

The attached PDF has screens and arrows showing how I got mine working.

BASICS

1> Make SURE you are logged in as an Administrator (see AM an Administrator.jpg)

2>  Any MS Visual C++ version NEWER than 10.0.0309 have to be Uninstalled

3>  A new folder has to be created and Permissions given to SYSTEM
