Installation Problem Autodesk Inventor 2014

Hey,

i tried to install the Autodesk Inventor 2014 several times. Always the same problem.

This is an excerpt of the Logfile. The complete logfile is attached.

2013/12/18:16:20:43    Mario    EBBE    Install    Autodesk Material Library 2014 - Low Image Library    Failed    Download Failed, Installation aborted, Result=1603
2013/12/18:16:20:44    Mario    EBBE    Rollback    DirectX® Runtime    Failed    Failure is ignored, Result=1619

I don´t know how i can fix the problem. I checked several communities but i can´t find a solution.

I would be happy i someone can help me.

As your log indicates, the material library is failing to download.  Others are having this problem currently.  Makes me wonder if the problem is on the Autodesk server end.

What your might try is downloading from the virtual assistant instead.  Sometimes it just works better than other distributions.

Hey Travis and Jessica,

thank you for your posts.  Your ideas solves my problem. I`ve downloaded the Installation File.

After installing the Service Pack 1 on my Win8.1 Notebook, the Inventor starts without problems.
