Installation Failure on iMac

After downloading both Akamai Client Installer and AutoCAD and entering my serial# and Product key for install it fails with a prompt to help desk. This is what it is telling me:

I ran into this too.

Did you happen to change (or did your sysadmin change) your default shell to something other than /bin/bash?

The Akamai installer's "post install" script has a subtle bug that only shows itself if you're not running bash.

To check, open you System Preferences tool, click Accounts, unlock the settings if required, right click your name to bring up the advanced options menu.  Ensure that your login shell is set to /bin/bash.

Save, then try again.

P.S.  If Akamai is reading, you can't use "su" in a bash script and assume that the subshell you get will be bash.  In this case, your launchctl command with the "2>/dev/null" redirection is a syntax error in tcsh and csh and probably others, causing the postinstall script to fail.
