Hello,

Every time I try to install the complete demo, it fails at softimage, and rolls back the entire installation. All red X's.

Skipping softimage it fails at suite exclusives premium, leaves behind sketchbook designer which doesn't roll back, and that program has an install size of 644GB but will not run.

Skipping those two, it appears to have installed correctly, but NONE of the programs work. Only a few of the programs uninstall properly.

I am currently using WIN7 Ultimate OS. I've followed the site's suggestion at disabling UAC manually, with no positive results. I've also turned off my anti-virus software for good measure.

The same install files installed properly on another computer with WIN7 Home Premium OS.

Any suggestions?

The installation log should show the reason for your failures.

From the install log for softimage_x64:  these two commands appear to be different from the successful install under windows 7 hompe premium,
under windows 7 ultimate, neither appears to execute, and shortly there after one of them has set the _EXITCODE=1 presumable resulting in the failure when it gets to the subsequent test that follows below

Win 7 Ultimate x64

Installation fails after Materials Libraries install and 3ds Max seems to return a 1603 error (my read of log) which triggers a rollback that requires 3ds Max to be uninstalled manually from the control panel. A dialog box stating installation failed due to unexepected result in one of the installation msi file's task. I have tried multiple downloads from Autodesk, both with and without akamai and the rar files check out both methods. As the installation fails at the same point each time perhaps somebody can interpret my log for me as it seems way to vague to actually be helpful to somebody unfamiliar with this product line's 'feature set'...

I attempted to install just max and associated programs. Same failure, but as I was watching the process more closely, right after max reached 100% a Windows dialog box opened saying Singleclick quit unexpectedly, Windows is checking the Internet for solutions. When that box closes is exactly when the Autodesk installer fails with an error that some process in the msi did not complete as expected and I get the list of red X's on all the Suite's contents. Hope that helps as I haven't been able to find any reference to Singleclick nor have I found any other similar installation failure posts.
