I've tried installing 3ds max multiple times with no success, either a fail to start message, communication error message, or in this case, an installation failed message. I've probably tried to install 6 times, uninstalling and reinstalling each time, no success any time.

Computer specs:

8gb Ram

200+gb free hard drive space

2gb (pretty sure) graphics card

i7 1.5 GHz processor

Running windows 7, 64 bit

Any help would be greatly appreciated, hoping to install sketchbook and maya on here as well. Thanks a lot in advance!

Also: if you need more information to help solve, please let me know and i can email anything else; apparently the files are too large to attach in the message.

I downloaded the direct x update, first time it said it was up to date and no further installation was necessary, so i tried once more and it said installation failed. uninstalled all of my autodesk files except for the one outside of my program files folder, and used the setup once more to try installation, all parts of the program failed to install, again.

My installation Log in case that helps at all, i saw where they were getting 1603 and 1619 as well. I can't figure out how anybody solved the issue outside of direct x updates, which i guess mine is up to date by what it said the first time i downloaded.

Tried the install again this morning, got an entirely new error to keep things fresh. "There is a problem with this windows installer package. A program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected. Contact your support personell or package vendor."

Tried this laSt night a few times, error 1601 was the number that time. Should I just install an older version? People aren't seeming to have much luck with 2013

Is there any solution for error 1619?? i've tried everything from diagnostics mode to uninstalling java before hand. Literally anything that was even rumored to make this installation go through. I started trying to install this in november and I've yet to see a working version of 3ds max on my PC. I would appreciate any tips or information.
