Installati on Errors for Revit

I'm trying to install Revit and I'm coming up with the attached errors. I'm getting the same errors on two seperate computers.
The one thing that I could think of is that I set up the download of the file to go through the night. At some point in the night, the computer was shut down. Could it be that the entire file wasn't downloaded correctly?
Thanks for any help,
Drew

Possibly. I would verify in the registry that you have access to those keys and there isn't a permissions issue involved. Similar 1406 registry errors used to exist because of permissions issues due to a Macromedia Flash problem back a few releases ago. Make sure that the permissions in the registry are all set for these problematic keys and that you are also installing as a user with local Admin privileges.
It's possible that your download is corrupted though if the problem exists on multiple machines.

Travis, you were right on the money with the flash and it affecting the registry (both computers have an older of flash).
It still failed installation though. The error log shows an error "Result = 1603" See the log info below:

Painful, but I think I figured this out.
So, the problem was the installation of Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 SP1.
I went to http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx
I tried installing Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 SP1 directly but there were further problems but I found the solution here: http://www.forumtopics.com/busobj/viewtopic.php?p=
The only other issue was that there was an error writing to a key for htmlhelp 2.0. I ignored it and it still went through.
Thanks Travis for your help.
