Installation Error

Hi. So I'm a student and I've been trying to install Maya multiple times and it gives me an error immediately upon starting the install. Here is the error log. Any help would be appreciated. I've deleted my temp folder

Nevermind. It finally installed after a simple reboot and downloading via web browser. Go figure.

I've downloaded it with the Autodesk Download Manager.

I've tried to install this package from Microsoft's web site but still didn't work either. It simply keeps asking me to reboot before installing but even after rebooting it gives me the same "reboot" message.

What can assure me that if I download via browser I won't have the same problem again?
