Does anyone have the fix for the issue of setup failure for Inventor Version 10?
The message is Microsoft WSE 2.0 Runtime "error 1001installutilib.dll unknown error in
corebindTo runtimehost (0x80131700)
Inventor 10 has been running since 2007 on this machine. I needed to reformat and reinstall the operating
system. I also did all the microsoft updates to the system before attempting to reinstall Inventor ver 10.0
I suspect that inventor no longer recognizes something in the recent updates.
We will be upgrading to the current version next year, but I still need this for at least another month or so.
