Install AutoCad2010

I cannot complete the student download of autocad2010.  After set-up a series of boxes comes up which open to stuff like "Install product", "Create Deployment", "Install tools, and utilities", and read Documents files.  I do not know what to put in create deployment, and the others when picked say that I cannot install on the current operating system.  I have downloaded Civil AutoCad 2010 previously with no trouble.  Can you help, as I am getting quite frustrated with this?

I am having the exact same problem. My operating sytem is the latest Windows 7 yet am getting the same message 'cannot install on the current operating system' when tyring to "install product". I also thought it might only be an issue with the 13 month student trial only so I dowloaded the AutoCad2011 (non student) 1 month free trial as well with unfortunately the same issues/ outcome. Frustrating indeed. Anxiously awaiting a reply for this.

Ok I figured it out. We were installing a 32bit on a 64bit computer. You need to select 64bit for 64 and 32bit for 32 or else it won't work.
