I live in a student group house, one person has student version Inventor Pro 2012 installed on his hot gaming machine and does not want to upgrade to 2013. Can I install student version Inventor Pro 2013 on his machine and can we both run the different installs (at different times, of course) ? Thanks.

Yes. They will install on the same machine. However, Inventor is not backwards compatible, so you cannot share files between the versions. I would recommend setting yourself up with your own user profile login and installing that way. Good luck!
