Install 2012 on Windows 7 vs. XP

I have a deployment that will work fine for 32 bit XP but gives me an error code of 1327 when I try to install on Win 7.  The 2 computers are in the same department with the same security settings to the drives and directories.  Does anyone know what the issue is on the install?

This error is Generic MSI error related to invalid Drive

do you have any search path or installation path specific for the OS.

if you can post the compressed log files, (from %temp% ) folder we can help you get to the root of the issue.
