I recieved a new computer at work and had to re-install AutoCAD LT97, however this was a different version that I had on my previous computer. Once installed, I tried to open a file and it is giving me an incompatible error. I went into the properties and selected the "compatibility" tab and checked to run for Windows XP (service pack 3) I am still receiving my error. Does anyone know what I should do?
That program is way too old to work properly on Windows 7. You might consider Windows XP Mode as an alternative if you still need to use that program.

it may not even work on xp
you may have to go older like windows 2000 or windows 98
