INVENTOR 2011 NO ACTIVATION SCREEN

Inventor 2011 software downloaded successfully from Autodesk but cannot activate.  When I start application the first thing that pops up is that my 30 day free trial has expired and when I click on "activate" the next screen is completely blank so I cannot even start to activate.  Apparently I must have another version of Inventor on my computer.  I uninstalled all previous versions but evidently my computer still has traces of the old software conflicting with the new version.  What to do?

Can I download all over again to another computer?

Completely blank?  Or blank except for two "radio buttons"?

Did you follow the Autodesk Inventor Clean Uninstall instructions before re-install?
