I keep getting the FlexNet License Finder dialog box.

I've read many forums on here and I can't seem to get it to work.  Not sure if my server OS is the issue.  I saw some people mention LMTOOLS v11.11 had an issue with 2008R2.  I can ping my license server from the client, IPv6 is not the issue.

My license manager is on Server 2008R2

Clients are Windows 8.1

LMTOOLS v11.12

AutoCAD 2014

Could be firewall.  From your client launch Internet Explorer.

http://servername:27000

http://servername:2080

You should receive a jargon page on both.

Yes, I've done that as well. No luck they are both open.

if the above doesn't work
try using the IP address instead of the server name of the license server

I've set the timeout variable to 1000000, still no luck. I've changed the host name to ip and it doesn't work either way.  Still getting the dialog box.I'm going to try and install the NLM again and make sure there's no issues.  Any other ideas?

try increasing the timeout variable to 2000000 and so on and see if it grabs a license

there seems to be communication problem between the 2 computers
