I am trying to install autocad LT 2008 on my laptop, I took it off of my desktop.  I can't find or get a activation code.  I do have window 7 on the laptop, if that matters.  I hope someone can help me out, I am getting upset and confused.

I wanted to first point out that AutoCAD LT 2008 is not supported to run on Windows 7 platform (2010 is the first release that is). I've provided the following Windows 7 compatibility links for your reference.

With that being said, some users have been able to run 2008 in Windows 7 with a minimal loss of functionality, and there are workarounds that others have employed, such as running your Windows 7 OS in XP mode (not supported by Autodesk).

In order to manually receive an activation code, you need to first provide our License Assistance team with a serial number + request code. .
