Sorry for repeating myself but I was just not getting an answer to my question.
Regarding the reply you gave me it did not seam to be the best way to fix my problem because they said that this program may corrupt other programs I have already installed in my computer. Do you know what other file names I can delete from my registry besides Autodesk & AutoCAD that will eliminate this deadlock? Or, do you have any otter ideas?

I personally run it many times a day while providing customer support. I highly recommend it as a workable solution to your issue. I understand your concerns, but so long as you use it as directed, you will have no problems.
Run the MSI Cleanup, remove your AutoCAD version from the list. Then from Windows Explorer, delete the AutoCAD direction from Program Files. Then reboot. You should be able to successfully reinstall AutoCAD just like it was never installed before.
Please! Please! Please! Give me the direct link to this download program because I can not decipher what your other link is talking about.
What I meant by this program does not work is this program will not download into my computer. What can I do about this?
I provided the file for download on the second page of that discussion question.
Here, I will provide it again for you. Unzip and install the msicuu2.exe. You can then run the program from your Start Menu.
Thank you for your help. I am still having a problem. After installing and running the repair program I was able to start to install AutoCAD but it will only go to Installing Components, AutoCAD 2010 and it stays there indefinitely. I think it's because of me going into the registry removing practically everything that had the words Autodesk & AutoCAD attached to it, including folders. I did a Windows repair and this did not fix the problem.
Did you actually run the utility and remove AutoCAD 2010 from the list?
Then all you need to do is remove the AutoCAD 2010 folder under Program Files, reboot, and try the reinstall.
Well I am getting the green install bar across the bottom that I did not get before, thats a good thing. I think it's going to work! You are a mastermind, it worked!!! Tank you! Thank you! Thank you!
That's how I roll. Good luck and hope everything works for ya!
Hi. I cannot install AutoCAD either. It keeps asking for deployment information, which I understand to be for multiple computers - but it could mean other things that I don't know about...
If I download it again, would it take up that much more space - duplicating what's already been downloaded - on my computer? It's already a huge program.
Any advice as to what to do next? Re-install? or ????
Did you download the file from the Autodesk Subscription center? You should just be able to extract the downloaded files and run setup.exe. From there, the autorun install menu should launch. What kind of error are you getting?
