How to install and uninstall Autodesk VRED Professional 2014 SR1 silently?

Hi Eveyone,

I need to automate the installation of Autodesk VRED Professional 2014 SR1 instead of installing it manually. Please help me in creating silent installation and uninstallation package.

Thanks,

Vinod

Extract the installer.  Then open a command prompt go to the folder.

cd to 'extracted' folder and type:

setup.exe /S /N YOUR_LICENSE_SERVER

Hi David,

Thank you very much for the solution.

I have followed the steps and able to install silently. But the application is installing the files in "C:\Program Files\Autodesk\VREDPro-6.6-x64" by default.

Is there any option or parameter to change the installation directory?? According to my requirement i need to install files in"C:\Program Files\Autodesk\VREDPro2014"

Thanks,

Vinod

Please Try

/D CUSTOM_INSTALL_DIRECTORY

Hi Hashim,

It's not working as expected with /D. Still it's installing files in its default location.
I have tried as mentioned below
setup.exe /S /N YOUR_LICENSE_SERVER /D CUSTOM_INSTALL_DIRECTORY

Thanks,
Vinod

It might not implemented in the latest version.
I will need to run some tests.

For the Silent Uninstall please use

INSTALLDIR\uninstall.exe /S
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I have tested and confirmed that the /D flag will not work.  It will always install in the C:\Program Files.
